Because of the negative physical and psychological effects of living in areas of concentrated poverty, reimagining a safe and supportive living community for low-income residents is necessary to increase their quality of life.

A community built upon celebrating and compounding its individual strengths will be far more successful and sustainable than one that rejects its differences. Like a patchwork quilt, it highlights the beauty of creative union -  bringing together many pieces of uniqueness and individuality to create a stronger and more evolved whole while also allowing each piece to retain its identity.
